HP ProCurve 3500-48G YL PoE Gigabit Network Switch 

The HP ProCurve 3500-48G YL (J8693A) is an enterprise grade switch. The 3500-48G YL features PoE capabilities as well as Gigabit (10/100/1000) Ethernet speeds

, perfect for voice and data deployments. PoE, or Power Over Ethernet, allows your switch to power your phones, terminal adapters, and other 802.3af compliant devices.

The Gigabit speeds ensure you will not suffer a lag, or drop in network speed, which in turn could decrease efficiency and work flow.

The ProCurve 3500-48G YL has 48 ports, four of which are dual personality ports. These dual personality ports can either be 10/100/1000 Ethernet or mini-GBIC fiber ports.

In addition to the 48 ports this ProCurve switch has, there is also an open module slot that supports up to four 10GbE uplinking ports.

Fast internal network structure can be achieved via HP's core-to-edge ProVision software. Also, since this switch is rack mountable,

you can save space by stacking multiple switches on top of one another.
